ABOUT THE SERIES
Criterium racing has been at the heart of the St. Louis Metro area cycling culture for generations. SBR Bikes & Brews wanted to add to that tradition by bringing the laid back, fun, grassroots feel of track racing the to local & regional crit scene. So in 2025, the Route 66 Shakedown Series was born. In our first season of 4 months & 4 races, over 100 racers competed across all Men's & Women's categories, with Series Champions being crowned after our final race in September.
LOOKING FORWARD
2026 builds on the momentum of our first season by again having 4 races on the gorgeous 1.9 mile course at Route 66 State Park outside of Eureka, MO. But this year, we are adding 2 additional races to the 66 Series: one at Carondelet Park in the Holly Hills Neighborhood of St. Louis City, and another at a "surprise location" to be announced over the next few weeks.
