Route 66 State Park
The home course for the Route 66 Shakedown Series is located at Route 66 State Park outside of Eureka, MO. The 1.9 mile loop is pancake flat, snaking through open fields and tree canopies alike. The setting for 4 out of our 6 races in 2026 offers a maneagable course for new road racers, yet is varied enough to challenge seasoned competitors to ask that age old question: "Should I risk it all for a breakaway, or sit in for the final sprint?" Race #1 = Sat, March 28 // Race #2 = Sun, April 19 // Race #3 = Sat, May 9 // Final Race #6 = Sat, Aug 29 (the weekend before the Gateway Cup!)

Carondelet Park
Nestled in the beautiful Holly Hills Neighborhood of urban St. Louis, Carondelet Park has hosted hundreds of criterium races throughout the decades. The Vann Knight Tuesday Night World Championship p/b Big Shark Bicycles is a weekly staple in the STL race scene annually from March to September. In 2026, the 66 Series will put its own special twist on this storied race course. Race #4 = Sat, June 13

Ft. Zumwalt Park
Many moons ago, Ft. Zumwalt Park in O'Fallon, MO, was used as a race course for a number of different criterium events. FZW Park is now back to flex its muscles in the Route 66 Shakedown Series: rollers, flats, hills, chicanes...this course has it all. As a post race treat, Trek O'Fallon Bike Shop & Store Manager Tim Martin will host a post-Race #5 extravaganza in the shop parking lot, just 1-mile from FZW Park. Enjoy food, drink, and maybe some live music after the Gold Race ends at 1:30 PM! Race #5 = Sat, July 11
